Hi Guys,
I just posted the CDI 500 and the CDI 300 on the American Audio web site. As Skilz stated both players come in black only and will be available end of April/begining of May.

Will these fit the PS-SYS-CASE?

They have a larger footprint so they won't fit. By the way the scratching on the 300 sounds very nice. I wasn't expecting it to sound that good.
seems alot similar to the Ps2, excpet for the fx in sync and the wet/dry contorl.... looks intresting, but is there another surprise that i shuld be waiting for???

Skilz, did you play with it yet? Is the outer ring on the jog wheel removable like the PS2's?

The whole unit is solid. nothing is removable. And yes i got to mess around with the unit for awhile. Any other questions?

The unit is solid. Works very well. Rhue.. The FX do Sync with the player. it's just like the PS2, but a whole lot better. You have the 1 to 1 ratio with the indicator, and it makes such a big difference to see that when your DJ'ing.
If you were to measure the platter size.. you will find out that it's bigger then the Velocity, and the PS2 platter about 1 inch bigger.

After playing with the DCD-1000, I'm really interested in the 500. If there's any chance these could be in the stores before May 1st, it would be really, really cool (I have a friend who is interested in buying my decks, but if he sees the 500s first, I may loose out! )
