i recently purchased the Airstream DMX unit to control the lights in my venue, However, the app seems to crash every time I try to type in the name of the wifi network I want it to join in ‘advanced settings’. I have a feeling it has something to do with the fact that the network name has 2 special characters immediately following one another (ie: T.J.’s Network). There seems to be a conflict with how the app handles the input of a period followed by an apostrophe that causes it to crash. Unfortunately I can’t just rename the network, so as a result, ive being forced to use the local ad-hoc network created by the bridge itself until the app devs resolve this bug.
Has as anyone else experienced this issue? If so, were you able to somehow resolve it without renaming the network?
