american dj color 250d not working, help!

i have 6 american dj color 250d lights. they have been going out on my one at a time for about 6 months and now i am down to only one working light. what happens is the lamp will burn out, then i replace it and the new bulb starts bright, but i only get about one hour out of it before it starts to dim and eventually goes out. i'm pretty sure it's not the type of bulb that i'm using that is causing this, but i could be wrong. any ideas?

It sounds like the ballast that ignites the lamp went out on you. I'm sure these are out of warranty but giving a call to our service dept they can help you figure out exactly what the problem is and you could buy parts for them from our online parts store.
