All nights not working in effects generator

good luck, I have color rails and still have not been given a clear answer on how to use them to their full potential. The only thing that was said is use the multiple generic led's. That doesn't seem to work with the channel assigned on the light vs the software. For whatever reason I can't get 8 independent sections per light like I should.

Thanks for the suggestion fortconspiracy. I'm having the same issue with the ADJ Mega Bar RGBA. If I use the whole bar as a single color, It works fine. But when I try to use the light as independent sections it won't work. I have had the first section working once too though. If I make 8 generic profiles, how would I go about assigning the DMX channel on the fixture? Would it just be set to the channel of the first profile I create?

Thanks I hate American DJ. I just swallowed the American DJ pill, now, I'm rethinking my move. I have the next 5 days off from my real money paying job, and I'll be playing with this thing to try to get it to work. My next scheduled gig is not until new years eve, so I should be able to get it up and running by then.
