16 bit dimming

Hey!

I’ve noticed that some of my fixtures that has electronic dimming seem to have a lot more ’steppy’ appearance than those with dimmer blades. All my fixtures have 16 bit dimming but they are on two separate channels so I’ve never really understood how to use the fine dimming function. Normally if I wanna go from blackout to full brightness it’s just 255 steps but if I use the fine channel, in theory it’s roughly 65.000 steps instead.

My question is: how do I do if I want to do a really smooth dimming from black to full brightness using the 16 bit dimming?

Hello, what fixture profiles are you using that the 16-bit dimmer is not automatically being used with dimmer channel fade in and out?
