Wireless microphone for ADJ APX12 GO BT

Hi I just bought a APX12 go BT speak and the microphone won't connect. Does anyone know how to connect the microphone. I'm pretty tech savvy. But I think I may be missing something

Hey, if the microphone isn't connecting try pressing and holding the channel button on the microphone button. After a few moments the display on the microphone should flash.

I contacted customer support for the speaker and the customer support guy walked me through the setup. Speaker off, mic off, then mic on, then press both power and channel buttons on the mic, will start flashing, then power on the speaker and press the channel button on the mic. Problem solved
