why doesnt the dcd 240 have?

Yeah thanks, i did a search they are well priced, the dcd 400 has seamless looping and is well priced, but the 600 comes with lots of excellent functions, I might very likely get one of these.

what exactly is that scratch box thingy??....i keep seeing them around but i've never actually got a hold of one or really understood how they work or what they're used for....do u hook 'em up and use it to make scratch sounds or somthing??
