I'm putting lighting in to the group exercise room (25x50ish) of my gym. Per the request of instructors and members who take the Zumba and Spin classes. I would really appreaciate any help this forum can lend.

I have been buying lights over time, as budget permits. As of now I have:
6: Mega Par LED
2: Galaxian Gem LED
1: Mega Bar LED
9: DMX cables (various lengths)

I need a controller. Here is what I'd like to be able to do...

1) Control my Pars either independently or as a group. I don't know if this is something I really need or if this is a common thing to do. If most people run all the up or down lighting as a group, I guess that's the way I'd do it.
2) Control my Mega Bar independently. I plan to use this fixture to light up the instructor. The people in the room need to be able to see him/her.
3) Be able to turn my Galaxians on and off as needed. Some classes don't want the dance club effect.

Would the Duo Station accomplish what I'm planning?

It looks like it allows me to turn the Galaxians on with the push of a button. But it doesn't look like I can control which program the galaxian runs. Would I then need to go to each of my galaxian and adjust the program from the back each time?

Anything else I should be doing? Missing anything? Should I buy another feature type light to compliment the galaxian?

Thanks!

By "desk comtroller" you mean something free standing? We dont have a computer or computer access in the room. We have a cabinet/rack that houses all the audio equipment. It's a permenant location. I'd like to see the controller live there. Doesn't need to be rack mountable. It can just sit on top or on a shelf if need be.
