VMS2 has stopped working

Hello
My VMS2 has stopped working. My Mac OS X no longer recognises the sound card, and when I reboot my Mac it gives this message: "USB Devices Disabled. Unplug the device using too much power to re-enable USB devices”

I have tried the VMS2 on two other Macs and it doesn’t work on those either.

The VMS2 shows 2 and 5 lights on the Volume EQ/lights when the USB is plugged in, but then nothing. However there is a light on the on/off switch.

However, when I plug the VMS2 A/C power lead, there is no light on the power switch.

The VMS2 controller is not seen in my System Preferences / Sound.

Is there anything I can do ?
