I been having a hard time trying to find out what unit would have a higher output as a wash. The vizi spot led pro with frost filter active or vizi wash 108. Hopefully someone has both and could give me some good advice. I have 6 vizi pros and now wonder if I should get 6 more as my wash and have all lights match or if the vizi wash would be a better unit for that

From my understaning, the 108 is brighter but has a tighter beam angle. However, if you are going for a solid wash light, i would check out the Inno-Beam Its always good to have your lights match, but in the end of the day, 80-90% of your shows, you wont even be able to see the fixture itself. So matching, at that point, only comes into play before and after the event. Hope this helps out
Loso welcome to the forums. Smiler
The Vizi wash 108 has a 22 degree beam angle. The inno color beam has a 13.5 degree beam angle. so in terms of how far you are throwing the fixtures and how much wash coverage you want/need the Vizi wash 108 is wider. BUT.....I myself am partial to the inno color beam. They are cool and neat fixtures.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Thanks for you reply's. I guess I should give a little more info. I run lights for bands. I use 4 x ST 132 (13') with box truss 20' span in the front and 20' in the rear. Right now i run 4 vizi on the back truss and 2 on the floor. My wash lights (or main) are 24 led rain 64c (on front and rear). so Im ready to add the XY to my main wash lights. I am happy with the vizi pro color wheel. So I don't really need the "mixing" although It is a plus of the other 2 units. It was more of a plus to be able to run all 12 (looking at 6 more Vizi pro) as spots for effects on stage but then run as wash for most of the performance. inno beam with 13.5 seems pretty narrow. I would think at my distance i would need more then 6 to light up a band on a 20 x 20 stage. my guess was that the vizi pro would be brighter in its color wheel but fall short to the vizi wash at full on. So I think the inno might be out of the line up. the new question would be what been angle would i get out of the V wash between 13 to 20'
