Wow I was really looking forward to selling my Vizi-Spots to upgrade, but there are a couple of reasons I won't be now.

They changed the gobo sizes, and I spent about $1200 on custom glass gobos, and they can't be used on these.
They made the beam smaller. 14 degrees is already pretty small, now it's 13 degrees.
And they got rid of the 5 facet prism.

I think I may just hack my fixtures with a brighter bulb Wink
I wouldn't be surprised if the regular version gobos fit. It is only .3 mm difference in size and there has to be a little wiggle room for slight size differences in gobos. The one thing you would lose however is viewing area and that seems to be a concern you have Stevie. With the smaller viewing area of the regular gobos, you will block more light in the Pro version.

Going from 14 to 13 degrees wouldn't be that much of a change however. Its very small change. Not sure why they got rid of the 5 face however.
A quick question about the prisms on the Vizi Spot Led Pro. Can the prism be set to rotate at variable speeds, from stopped, very very slow, to medium, to fast etc, in both directions? or, is it a case of...Prism On, Prism Off...there's your three images, or not.

I'm guessing you can also rotate the gobo whilst using the prism effect, but I'm hoping to rotate the 3 facet prism at various speeds too.
Thanks James the "how slow" would be useful to know... the scenarios I'm think of are during ballads/slow spots, and also for "wall washing"/"ceiling washing" during a dinner for example. Something like 6 RPM (10 seconds to perform a complete rotation) would be good - but slower would be better.
