using Mydmx 1.0 shows on Mydmx 2.0?

I have used 1.0 for about 8 years and have some really good shows built. My 1.0 dongle went out (loose connections) so I purchased 2.0 along with a new laptop (exceeds all 2.0 requirements) When I try and open my 1.0 show (dlm file) in 2.0 I get this:

Could not open file C:/Users/owner/Documents/Vertical 1.0.dlm. You probably have no permissions to read this file or the file is corrupted. Please make sure to have at least read permissions to the file and try again.

I do have read permissions, am I skipping something here? Does this dlm file need to reside somewhere besides my desktop or documents folder?

That's very strange, you shouldn't have any issues with that. A few things:
1) What MyDMX 2.0 software release date did you install?
2) Can you email us the .dlm and we can check it out? (Jamesk at Americandj dOt CoM)
3) What release date of myDMX 1.0 were you using and on what Windows OS? 7, 10, or XP?

Windows 7 is what I ran Mydmx 1.0 on and Mydmx 2.0 is being run on the same platform as well (Windows 7). The version I installed of Mydmx 2.0 is the latest I could find from adj.com (July 1, 2015) and when I click on "check for updates" on the software it tells me no update is available, so I assume I have the latest and greatest.Sending you the DLM file now, it will be from clifford@psetx.com
