Using Lasers Outside

I've looked through the forum and done some Google searching, but haven't found an answer...

I do a lot out outdoor gigs (both band and DJ) and have recently purchased a micro Galaxian. I know I'm not supposed to let the lasers go into the sky and blind pilots or cut slices off the moon, so...

What would be the best way to use the laser outside?
