tap tempo?

Just wondering... will there EVER be a Tap Tempo capability for the MyDMX 2.0? Because if not, frankly, it's junk for any live performance. It looks like there are many FREE options out there that would be a better "purchase."

I already won the MyDMX 2.0, and I love the simplicity of the programming on it. One feature, Tap Tempo, would make it an amazing option. Since I've owned cheap controllers going all the way back to 1987 that had tap tempo, I truly expected it would be part of anything sold by ADJ.

There was never any plans for tap tempo for my dmx 1.0 or 2.0. sorry if you were mislead. there might be some 3rd party work around that I've heard about, but nothing official from us. I know it's disappointing, but i'm just being honest with our intentions for features and functions of the program. The elation Compu Show does the tempo functions really well, however at this time it is not Mac OS compatible.

Jingles, I just GOTTA ask... Why the heck not? I mean it's one of the simplest features every single lighting software package BESIDES MyDMX 2.0 includes out of the box. Is it to push people to Compu Show? Which, at $1,199, frankly, isn't an option. What you do instead is push people to FreeStyler, or other software/hardware packages.

What 3rd party options can you suggest? I'm totally crippled right now without this or some other mechanism.

Any novice programmer would be able to add this without a problem. Once tap tempo is engaged, it just needs to override the hold time between scene segments and ignore the fade times. Please add it! Pretty please? With sugar on top?

Not gonna happen fellas, sorry. And Compu show starts at under 700 MAP, not 1,199, thats the full version dongle.
