In the box - bottom right quadrant - where the fixtures and their state are shown it would be immensely useful to be able to put in text boxes to describe the fixtures (I'm assuming this is not already possible)

You can make fixture groups and custom label the groups. You could even do individual ones too.
Sorry if I'm being a bit dense here but I don't see how creating a group (in Edit ?) results in the name of the group showing up in the bottom right zone.
To be able to add a text box in that area I would expect to see a "T" icon in the taskbar at the top of the area
