Hello ,
I have some questions about VMS4. I bought it 2 days ago(new one) , and i also bought VDJ 7 Pro. So how can i make correct mappers so everything works correctly , i mean 4 channels to. If i put 4 out and ch1 analog, ch2 usb, ch3 usb, ch 4 analog it makes really weird noise if i volume up little bit like someone shooting or something like that, cf A are ch2 and cf B are ch3 , so is it normal or something wrong with product? I really would like to run all correctly , 4 channels, faders, crossfaders, crossfader doesnt work sometimes at all. I updated also firmware.
And one question more, how i can do it like this , i want to prelisten trough headphones which are plugged in vms4 and want to master to pc speakers or stereosystem trough pc , so others can hear music from there, i really need that master out trough pc speakers, and can still prelisten in headphones like usual. I tried like that headphones are in vms4 , speakers are in pc output and i connected 2x RCA in VMS4 booth master left and right(On VMS4 are colors white and red but i have black and red , is there difference?) to pc input and it didnt worked. And if someone know good mapper for vdj then please let me know, where everything works correctly.

Sorry about my english but i hope you guys understand all and can help me out with those things.

Hey Doker,

I'm not a VDJ user, so I can't help you with that, but you can't route the main output through your PC without creating an aggregate device and that's a huge pain in the ass (and I'm not even sure if it's doable on a PC - maybe with ASIO4ALL but if you don't know how to map your controller in your DJ software, you probably shouldn't be messing with that)

You should hook your speakers directly to your VMS4's main outputs. You can prelisten in the headphones using the VMS4's cue section.
Doker-----

Thank you for purchasing the VMS4 I hope you enjoy it. If you are using the VMS4 with VDJ 7 on VDJ Ver. 7.0.3 there is a new default file that is 4 decks use the PFL buttons on the VMS4 to switch focus on the decks you are controlling.

As far as you audio routing let me explain this to you 1st the VMS4 uses USB audio streams routed individually to each instead of the more traditional 4out audio interface. this allows you the flexibility to switch from analog to USB sources with out changing settings on the software.

You want to route Virtual DJs master out from your computer speakers and the headphones from the VMS4 headphone jack? Right?---Well sorry to inform you that the VMS4 does not have an USB audio stream it routes the channel signal to the headphone Bus when a pfl button is active and mixed in the master /cue knob.

Depending on your computer if its relevant it should have a multichannel card that has separate streams for the headphone jack and your speakers on line out on your PC.

Hope this helps.
I have 1 question more, if i put both decks on vinyl mode , i can scratch on left deck and if i release it , it plays forward. But if i do it same thing on right deck then it doesn't go forward ,even if i stop song and play it again, whats wrong?Play button led not blinking , seems like track have to play , but it doesn't.
Got the same problem. I just wanted to send it back to my dealer as i thought, it could not be bad to try to install the latest firmware again.
After i re-newed the firmware the problem seemed to be solved - so i think it was an error in the firmware-upgrade process.

No problems since that...
