I,m not sure if this is just a piece of crap or what. I have a dell 1.6 Ghz processor with 1 gig of ram. it should run this little program with no issues. I guess you get what you pay for. I might just look into some different software and send this crap back to where I bought it from. I fee like I should have just stuck with my Chauvet Obey 70 controller. it was working just fine with no problems. I just called myself upgrading!! but it's looking like I downgraded at a cost of $300 bucks

I would appreciate any help I can get, I'm not getting any help from American DJ other than did you reload the software and the software has been running fine which cannot possibly be true or it wouldnt be all over this forum with people having the same issues. What I do know is it runs flawlessly on a Macbook Pro. Has several isuues on Windows 7 or XP that should have been worked out prior to selling the product. If anyone knows of a magic solution I would ,love to have the recipe. Thanks
Don't worry about replying to any of my post. I have boxed up this piece of shit software and I will be returning it. Maybe one day when they get all of the damn bugs out of it I might reconsider but I doubt it. How the hell can you sell a product that is full of problems???? Makes no sense!!! If you are going to upgrade something don't you think you should get the bugs out of it before you sell it. I'm sure as hell not going to go buy a $2,000 Macbook just to run this software when I can pretty much do the same thing with a DMX controller. I guess they make this shit for people who don't understand DMX protocol so it sets the adresses for them. What a joke!!! And yes I'm pissed and venting at the same time. I'm not going to sit on the product for more than 30 days and be stuck with a worthless software. I have had this crap for almost 30 days and I haven't been able to do shit with it. maybe I should bill ADJ for all of my wasted time pissing in the wind!! For the future ADJ don't sell shit to the consumers to tell you about all of the bugs for you on our time. Sad Sad
Thanks for the info but I'm willing to pay twice as much for a software that is going to be stable. I do not want something that is flakey. Elation has a pretty nice software!! I have always had good results with Elation products, they are in my opinion right up there with Martin products at a little bit cheaper price. I have uninstalled reinstalled after deleting the MY DMX2 folder from the C-drive I have tried this software on 3 different laptops and the only one that it works on is my IT guys Macbook Pro. What is up with that. I have a Mac for my main computer but I am not going to go buy a $2000 Mac just to run a little lighting software from. makes no sense. they should have this software bug free before selling it!!!!
