Steps to recreate...
Open a show, select a scene, copy all steps in the scene with the copy button.
Open a new show, create a new scene, paste steps into new scene, software crashes every time.

I will get this checked, in the mean time, update to the New DEC release, i just checked on my computer and i was able to copy and paste steps to scenes with no crashes. Let me know if that fixes your problem
Will do. Keep in mind that if I cut and paste from a single saved show, it works. The problem is if I cut, open a different saved show, create a new scene, and paste; that's where the software crashes. I'll install the Dec. Vers. and report back. Thanks JW!
Ah, well, that makes more sense of why it doesnt work...because it doesnt work that way. I thought you were talking from scene to scene inside the same show...which works. You can not copy looks or steps from one shot to the next

I installed the mydmx 2.0 at 2 different (small) clubs recently. In one place on a PC, the other place on a MAC. In both places I used the AUG 28 version. On both places the software crashes randomly, without any reason, some evenings 3 times, some evenings 20 times... So now I tried the DEC 4 version but that version doesn't recognize the USB box... I tried everything: de-install, plug in / plug out... whatever, it does not work, not on MAC, not on PC...

We are debugging the driver files at this time for Dec Release. On PC, you can manually install the files by going onto your C
rive and opening up the MyDmx2 folder...run the application called SiudiDriver Once this installes the drivers, then reinstall the Dec release and un-select the "driver install" box....finish install this will get the drivers to work.... We are working this bug out, but in the mean time you can install it this way.
