Hey All,

I was wondering if there is a latest/newer version for the ScanLibrary Editor. The reason I am asking is because I was wondering if it supports multiple beams now(mega pixel has 24)? I opened the ScanLibrary editor from the Dec 2010 release of mydmx and the whole editor is redesigned(I hope it is not just me), so I decided to try and make a profile for mydmx I wanted to see if it actually supports the multiple led beams in mydmx itself.

I was just thinking of how awesome it would be if it supported it because that would make the Fx generator and mydmx itself a whole lot more fun.

Thank you for your time

It's not the Editor that doesn't allow multiple RGB "cells" in one fixture. it is really the .ssl format. I agree it would be cool and easy and fun. But we will all just have to see what the future holds. But there is a way to already do this in the program by using multiple generic RGB profiles together and then maybe adding a dimmer and single channels profile to represent the dimmer channel and strobe at the end of the fixture. I am working on getting a version date from 2011 posted soon.
Sincerely,
Hey Jingles,

Thank you for that info. It is just too bad though that it doesn't work or you have to use generic profiles to do something awesome.

Does the Compu Show, or Compu Live Software support ODE the Enttec Open DMX Ethernet. "Out of the box, the ODE is configured as an Art-Net output node on universe 0:0"

I was thinking Art-Net and I know some of the Compu line supports it, but I wasn't sure what was supported as hardware wise. Because as much as I like mydmx I think it is time for me to upgrade. I would need to be able to use multiple scenes at once. Also does the Compu Show or Compu Live is it able to do midi in the background? Because I know for mydmx it has to be active in the foreground to be able to use dmx with it.
