Recording with Traktor?

Hi all,

I'm using a macbook with Traktor and the vms4 including it's soundcard and am wanting to record my set?

How do i go about this?

I was thinking of routing a phono from booth out to the microphone slot on my macbook and recording with audacity but aren't sure how much processing power this would use and what the quality would be like too??

I used to do this and i had no problem with my Mac!!!
This laptops are "dogs" they dont lag or crash what ever u make them!!!
And for the quality i think it was prety nice!!
I had a very good quality from the recording and the mp3 form wasnt bad!!!
I dont know any other why to record from Traktor bcz i have the same problem so i dont sit to find a solution bcz i have 1!!!

since you use external mixing mode with the vms, you also have to use external recording.

other than with all other mixers/controllers, you dont have to use another cable - traktor uses despite its external the internal master.

dont ask me how this comes technically, but it works.
