alrighttt just a quick question for anybody that would like to answer this for me...well first off I am looking into getting a set of PS2's just because i have heard so many good things from you people and other people...

ANYWAYS... the question is is that on the ****** cdn 88 (the dual digital cd players) when you use flanger (for example) you turn the jog wheel either left or right and it changes the sound of the effect.. ( either gives it more bass or changes the noise)...I think you should know what i mean.. on each of the effects if you move the jog wheel in a direction the sound changes which is a good thing!...now the question is is... DOES THE PS2 DO THAT... or does it do it just by itself without you turning it...meaning it just does what it feels like and you have no control of the sound although i do know you can change the effect sounds but DOES THE JOG WHEEL HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE EFFECT...like can you move it when the effect is turned on and it will "alter" the effect..thank you very much!

You can actually use the jog wheel to adjust effects on the PS2, but you also have 2 seperate parameter time and ratio knobs to completely adjust your effects to your desired perfection (they way it sounds, and the "ratio" which is kind of like a volume control for the effect which control how much effect you here as compared to how much of the orinal sound you here). Much the way a wet/dry control on a mixer works. Also if you go with the new CDI-500's you can let the player automatically beat sync the effect to the music....ie 1/4, 1/2, 1 to 1 beat ect.
alright I know you havr probably answered this question 1000000000000000000000 times but what would be a better selection as for the cd players?? should i take the i500's or the ps2's? in your opinion what would be a better choice?? I hear the the scratch feature on the Ps2's is amazing..thanks
No, it keeps the cd from skipping by reading 10 sec ahead. Meaning, if you make the laser lose it's place, it will still play due to the music in it's memory. If the laser loses it's place more than 10 seconds, the music will be interrupted. (hope that makes sense to you)
