Eeker 1) Tech Support Forums for starters

Razzer 2)Call Sony Tech Support, They may beable to walk you through how to fix it...
Roll Eyes 3) Send it to Sony for repairs it'll return fixed (Hopefully).
Confused 4)Trade it in for a newer model
Hope that helped a little

...uhhh...right.

You should get better results if you call this number: (323) 582-2650

or email: support@americanaudio.us

There is a procedure to reset the memory on the Pro-Scratch 2, it's in the instruction manual (which I don't have in front of me). That may help.
Does it do it with every CD? Or just certain ones?

Good luck.
That is weird......To reset your system..turn your cd players off, turn the parameter switch to the left or counter clockwise and hold that position, turn the unit on and then release the parameter switch. Your system should blink off and on three distinct times. If it does the system has been reset. See if that seems to work. Cool
thats not going 2 fix it...
as i said in my other post i've had the same problem with 2 of my units... is the way the power supply was swapped for usage on other voltages or somthing...
it needs to be taken apart and fixed by AA tech
what my question has been is will i have to pay for this problem even though i know i couldnt have caused it?
Smitho I don't know what thread you are referring to. Scratchman had the question and hasn't written back saying the advice did or didn't work. With that said it either worked or he contacted an AA tech rep. In your case given your location you may have a power issue. I right now am in Iraq and fully understand the power issue thing. We are not professional techs here on the forum nor is no one on any forum. Unless they say they are and can prove that with some type of credentials. Long story short call your local tech support or contact some of the moderators here and they can help you find who you need to talk with for help. I have had my share of issues with gear from American Audio it happens with all gear from time to time. American Audio has always given me good customer service and so I stick with them and consider buying their products before another. Customer service can also be a local issue too. I live in cali so cali customer servise is cool. I don't know about your area and who you would be contacting. Just my two cents bro' Cool
