Hi guys,

If someone has the PS SYS case (which comes with the Pro Scratch 2 system) , could you please please tell me what the inside dimensions of the mixer compartment are? Basically I want to know what is the max size mixer that can fit in there.

Oh! And is the case any good...is it really roadworthy?

thanks a ton!!

It's definitely road worthy. As far as the center compartment dimension, I need to find my tape measure and I'll get that for you cause I have one setup on the floor. . . The case is designed to hold the PSX, Pro Scratch 1 and Pro Scratch 2, but can also fit a CDJ 100 shhh who said that?
Yes, there is extra space for cables.

Found that tape measurer:

Mixer Section:
Width - 10 1/2 inches. There is approximately 1/4" on each side for the lip of the mixer.

Length - 11 inches - usable
- 15 inches to the back (4 inches for cables). There are also two 1" foam pieces that are glued to the front of the case. You could probably remove these for some extra space, as long as your mixer didn't have anything on the front of it.

Depth - 3 1/4 inches, level all the way through.

It seems your mixer might be just a little too long to fit. You might be able to squeak it if you had right-angle cables for the mixer side, and were able to remove the front foam pieces. Proceed with caution, your mileage may vary.

Or you could pick up a Q-MX2BPM. Wink

Yeah I think my mixer might be a little too big.
When you say 11" usable - 15" for wires...you mean the mixer cant use that extra 4" space?

You could probably use an extra inch or two, but that's really the space for your wires.

Here's some pics I just took so you can see what I mean: (sorry for the bad flash)

(yes, that's me in my pajamas)

Hope it helps.
