A couple more questions about ProMix. Is it normal for the Pitch Bend to take as much time as it does to return to 0 (Pitch) or is this somehow adjustable ?

What is the purpose of having a seperate playlist for player A and B ? Wouldn't it be just as good to have 1 playlist then load tracks from it onto whichever deck you choose ?

Thanks a lot for reading this message. I am a DJ that uses the computer and I need to buy the ADJ PRO MIX that you have. I tried it in a store with my own PC and the program seemed to be fine but the problem is that it skips seconds from the songs, just like when you have a damaged CD.

My mp3 are OK and my PC is better than the recommended system requirements:
Pentium 4 1.1 GHZ
512 MB RAM
100 GB in 2 hard disks ( 1 for music, the other for software )
Windows Millenium

I'd be thankful if you could tell me what's going on and if you had any similar issues. The Pro Mix is an excellent DJ tool and I really got dissappointed when it did not work properly as it should. I don't think it might be the computer, because I can use several music programs at a time with no problems. Maybe is something about the settings and configuration. If I didn't have enough memory in my PC, I would have said it's a memory problem.

THANKS A LOT
hi, djmele2! are you still actively using the promix? i have just completely installed it on my system. i've had the controller and software for 2 years but have not used them since my PC did not meet the specs requirement of promix. i have done some upgrades recently and now my PC is rejuvenated with the promix operating well on it! you were asking about some pitch bend issues, if i remember it right. i guess it had to do with some of your system specs not meeting what promix requires. i had the same issue before when my PC was still running on substandard specs, but now it doesn't happen anymore. i believe killing all running background applications while using promix would help a big deal. hope to hear back from you, pal!
denjev,
Welcome to our forums, I don't see many pro-mix users anymore, but please feel free to share your experience. Your knowledge on the product should prove valuable. And yes, as you suggested, when running ANY dedicated piece of software, you should disable/remove any software or services that are not necessary for the particular program to run.
