Problem w/ Pocket Scan

I have 4 scans that have had limited use. 1 has developed an issue that it now turns shuts off for 2 or so seconds and flashes back on for a moment then repeats. They are all stand alone and set on "S-F". The one with the issue now reads an address of "127" w/o me changing it. Is that an error code - if so, what does it mean? The fan and light both operate when it cycles. It ran for only a short time before the problem developed and has not automatically reset. Any info that can be provided would by greatly appreciated. Thanks
