Hello... I'm posting in regards to one of my two Pro-Scratch 2 units. Since I purchased it, it's given me NOTHING but problems. From the jump, I've had trouble with reading ALL of my cds. It seems like the player can't buffer the CD fast enough, so Fast Forwarding and even scratching never worked how it should. I've tried everything... original CDs, different CD-Rs... nothing. Just a few days ago the player began to make horrible clicking noises, and refuses to read any CDs at all. Even when I could get the machine to work, it would still have quirks or freezes... which caused me some humiliation during my gigs. Today when I turned it on, it made a loud 'pop' and all of the lights on the machine went berserk. Now when I power it up, nothing works EXCEPT for the blue CD drive light... not good. I've just been using my other Pro-Scratch in my home studio to work on remixes, but without 2 players I won't be able to play my weekend parties. I really love American DJ's products, but this one CD player has been almost COMPLETELY useless to me. DJs know what it's like to be stuck with only one deck, and it REALLY is putting a strain on me right now. Anyone, please point me in the right direction. I'm not so sure if I should spend my hard-earned money on your products in the future after going through this ordeal... right now I consider myself a 'disgruntled customer'.

Thank you for your time,
Matt

First off you said you just purchased them.....then they are under a two year warrenty. Second where are you...??? You need to call customer service and tell them the problem. I had problems with both of mine and AA was right there to fix my problem. I still use the things today. Just call customer service and let them know what the problem is. Later Cool

I didn't say that I just purchased them. I've had the set for about a year now and got them new off of eBay. I'm wondering what American DJ usually charges for the required repairs, as i'm not really prepared to spend a ton of money fixing a somewhat outdated player.
Since you purchased them off of eBay I doubt you have a receipt from an authorized dealer. If you do, they are under warranty from the date of purchase. If you don't look on the bottom or back for a white sticker with a month, year on it. The warranty is covered for 2 years from that manufacture date without the receipt.
