I've had the ADJ Pro-Mix for some time now. Are there gonna be any updates for the program? I'd like to see some other skins available. I'm so bored with the current look. I use it 7 nights a week. Will any new features be added to this or is this it? every other mp3 program has had updates, why not Pro-Mix?

Both I believe. Since the software will not work without the controller. It's a shame, I tried the demo, and thought it was pretty good software. Another company just released a software product that does what the Pro-Mix did, but it took them 4 years of development. The Pro-Mix was ahead of its time.
yeah tell me about it. Im very interested in The digital DJ business and finding the right controller is important. I have seen the Promix for sale at decent prices and I'm still considering getting one. But I was also wondering if the controller could work with(I know I cant say it another program??)And could you have the same effects like scratching etc etc?

Well thats a shame if not plain darn silly. I echo what others say that it was a stable product and probably ahead of its time. I can only imagine it wasnt making the bazillions of $$ the company would have liked.

Truthfully it is about 85-90% of being a perfect product, it needed a few things worked out, a couple of annoying bugs fixed, some features turned on and you'd have one mean kick a$$ box.

(I run 2 Pro-mixes in my 6 deck business)

I'm reminded of how Technic$ released the SLP-1200s waaaaaay back anticipating a huge take up of CDs by DJs. They were right, but about 10 years too early.

Anyway a great season to you all and keep playing the tunes until you cannot no more

I have tried, and/or use PC-DJ, Virtual DJ, Mixmeister, Pro-Mix, and BPM studio. They all have their plusses and minuses for different situations. I do thing the Pro-Mix has the best controller available, and is very stable on sub-par (older) computers compared to most of the other programs. PC-DJ Red is by far one of the most stable apps available, but is low on extra features. The Pro-Mix has allot of feaures and runs better than allot of the programs with = features. The best advice is to try a couple of the demo's and decide on what works best for you.

Side Note: The Pro-Mix has been discontinued, and therefor no future updates will be made.
