Pre mixed Cd's

Correct me if i am wrong. But as a "DJ" why don't you just make your own???

lol....thats what i did when i first started dj'ing(at 13)....played premixed cd's.....(basically cause i had normal stereo cd players)....but it came to my attention that people started calling me other dj names because during the breaks u would hear... "dj____in the mix"....lol...and u wouldnt want that to happen....so, basically what im trynah say is...its better to make ur own...

OK i do not know how to make those types of cds. how do you get it to record? and on one countinous track?

Well, you'll need a computer with a decent sound card, a CD burner, and some kind of audio recording software to start.
Hook up the output of you mixer into the Line-In (or input) of you sound card. You may need an adapter or two to make it work.
Run you audio recording software (Sound Forge, ACID, Cakewalk, etc), and set it to record from the Line-In (input) of your sound card. Now, whatever you play on your decks will be recorded, as one continous track. You're only limited by how much free hard drive space you have. As a raw WAV file, roughly 1 minute of music takes up 10MB of space.
Once you are done playing, and you have your WAV file saved, go into your CD burning software (Nero, EZ CD Creator, etc), and make an Audio CD, and use that WAV file as the content.
