Re: Pixel mapping

Hey!

So, I got some of those new strobe bars with a white strobe in the middle and RGB LED’s on each side of the tube. The fixture is split into 104 pixels and in the most advanced mode all of them are individually controllable.

Now to the question:

When entering the effects engine, I only find the possibility to control the RGB LED’s not the white ones. Is it possible to make effects using RGBW instead of just RGB?

The only effects I seem to be able to apply to the white pixels is the different curve effects.

Hi, so by default all white channels are sort of linked to the RGB when it is closer to full RGB intensity levels the white will come on with it. Sort of like a saturation dimmer.
i'm trying to find the exact spot to right click or a setting to have manual white channel control, but yes in the effects engines, you will need to use curve to make effects on just the white channel probably.
I believe this is different in the new MyDMX 5.
