not responding

I have this problem also. One thing I did learn last night was, I went to the task manager and found that updater.exe was running twice. I ended the updater.exe file on the bottom and it went straight to the live screen. I don't know if this was a coincedence or not but I did the same thing about 5 times and it seemed to work every time. Before I was having to reinstall the software every time to make work.

What is this updater.exe file anyway??

ive just tried that although i had only 1 updater.exe file,but it works
hovered the cursor over the program and i could tell it was going to go into not respond mode.
stopped the file it in task manager and all was well

thank you very much ive just about tried everything and was beginning to think no one had the answer.

does any one know a more permanent solution as SWOOD says what is the file anyway??

I may have found a better solution. I simply moved the updater.exe file into a different folder and it will load for me every time.

This Software is crap for the PC. It only works properly on a MAC!!!!

Ok - I can confirm that simply moving the updater.exe file from the c:\mydmx2 directory will solve the "not responding" issue when there is no internet connection.
