If you have ever used a DN-2000f it is pretty much the same. A bare bones no nonsense, buil like a tank dual unit, except it has a jog wheel for faster, easier searching through a track. Actually it's pretty much exactly like a DN-2000F Mk3.
well i ordered one in it will take about 2 weeks to get to me its coming from a company in springfield Ohio (where the simsons live lol) all the way to alberta canada. got a sweet deal $240.00 Canadian Wow!!
Hi guys, Does anyone sell a case to fit this unit plus a mixer and maybe an amp? I need it pretty quick too, lol. The unit is coming Friday and I'm gigging with it Saturday!
hey its friday, mine will be in next wednesday about. how do u like this cd player does it work good? whats ur opinion? im getting excited this is my first adj audio product iv always liked the lights i hope the audios the same
Well Jess, Mine arrived today. Having had a chance to play with it a little bit I'm pretty pleased, over-all.
This is a good solid no-frills piece that is perfect for mobile DJs like me who do primarily wedding receptions and the like.
I'll probably never scratch or do any of the other many neat things most players do nowadays. All I need is anti-skip, pitch adjust and a good display that gives me my stats in a nice clear way. This unit definitely does the job and the price is great.
It looks good in the rack and it's easy to operate right out of the box. No learning curve here, just hook it up and go.
At this price point it's a must-have, even if you just use it for a back-up unit.
I do have one complaint though. The 210 includes a loop feature that, in my opinion should have been left off. It's bad, Really bad. When you hit the loop button for the starting point all is well.
But when you hit the button again to close your loop a huge hick-up is created in the music. This gaping hole stays there and happens every time the loop repeats.
For that reason the loop feature on this unit is a complete waste of space. It's totally useless with that big hole in the loop. You can never use this feature in any situation I could possibly imagine.
I would much rather AA had simply left the feature off altogether if they thought a seemless loop was too much to have at this price point. I would have understood that perfectly and still paid $200 for it.
But to add it and then intentionally let it fall short just for the sake of having one on the unit is ashamed.
That's the only place the unit bows to the "bells and whistles" pressure, inho. In every other area, AA kept it simple and basic, refusing to add all the trinkets that 80% of us really don't need anyway.
But then again if you don't do any beat-mising or such, you won't even care about the seemess looping feature being terrible, because you'll never use it. I on the other hand would have used it a lot, but I'll be forced to avoid doing so because of this.
