MyDMX program won't come out of Demo mode. I have plugged in the dongle. Plugged the USB to the computer and the DMX cord to the lights. The lights on the dongle light up but, the program won't come out of Demo mode.

Which version date of the program are you using? Are you booting up the PC with the Dongle attached? If so do not plug in the USB dongle until windows has fully loaded and has had some idle time(a min or two). Have you tried a different USB port? A different USB cord?

same thing happend to me a while back and i found out that it was the cable.
Sometimes I find that unplugging and plugging the USB back into the laptop USB port does the trick too.
Make sure you find that one USB port that works and keep using that one port everytime.
Continued success that repeats everytime.
