The instructions I see assume the Magic260 is running properly.

I would suggest calling Support for your situation. It's sounding like either the trnsformer needs to be replaced(power supply) or most likely it's some capacitors that need to be replaced. It could be something else, but I think you're going to need an RA and ship it to ADJ for repairs.
Wow, you had lots of problems? That doesn't sound encouraging.

It's hard to say if the Magic260 should be discussed here on on the Elation forum. It is an Elation product "distributed by ADJ", so I guess on a technicality, this is the right area. Hopefully, the poster isn't behaving in a drive-by mode and is taking some action to get this issue resolved.

Did he send a new Chip or email firmware to write to it? I have the same problem I think the firmware is corrupt and the screen just flashes.
