Having spent good money on four Flat Par Tri7 I didn't want them hanging on a flimsy light tree and I don't want a truss. I own Ultimate Support stands for my speakers and almost went with them for my lights but their light trees are not cheap and they're basically speaker stands with extension adapters on top which gives me concern that they might be wobbly, I don't know. The LTS-2 may have done the job but I wanted something more sturdy and the LTS-10B certainly fits the bill. The stand is solid with good weight to it. Each leg is double braced and one leg is capable of leveling if need be. The two poles that extend have a spring in them to help prevent slamming your lights down during break down. The top bar isn't round so you can't use clamps but there's no need because there are a total of six mounting holes evenly spaced across the bar and it came with mounting hardware. I have all four of my Flat Par Tri7 mounted and the LTS-10B is solid. Another good buy. Thanks ADJ.
