Line in question for sound movement

hey forum, so if I wanted the lights to move with the music's bpm running the line in connection, how would I connect it? I can't plug into my laptop because the laptop is plugged with my controller the ddj 1000srt so the laptops output is set to the srt. Any clue?

At that point i think you'd have to split it between your PA and a line to the mic port on the WMX1, BUT i'm not a sound guy at all, so i'm just guessing.
I'll see if I can get someone with more sound knowledge to chime in.

In a live music environment, I usually run my kick drum mic channel out to the line in on the DMX interface.
