Hello,

I have the following lights and would like some advice on how to properly set them up on stage for my band...

(4) Par 64 LED Pro
(4) Punch Pro LED
(1) Revo Xpress

Currently I attach all of them to my ADJ Crank 2 Truss system as follows:
Fastened to top of truss: All four punch pro's (Evenly spaced)
Fastened to bottom of truss: All four 64 LED's and the Revo...the 64's are hanging far left and far right, and the Revo Xpress is close to center.

We usually point the Par's downward to various places on stage, the punch pro's are slightly angled downward to project more onto the dance floor, as is the Revo Xpress.

Would you do something different? Maybe get a another stand or two to put at the sides of the stage or front of stage with the pars facing the band?

Also, I plan on adding a couple of moving heads soon...any suggestions as to what would go with this setup? I would mostly be using them as solid color's...not so fond of the shape type gobos, I prefer just different colored beams of light. (I was looking at a pair of Chauvet MinSpot RGBW...what is similar to this that ADJ has?) I definitely do not like scanners for this application, I want moving spots/beams.

Thanks for the tips and advice folks!

Best advice is just to try different things. You are only limited based on your imagination. Your front light idea is a good one for sure. It will add another dimension to your show. You might also want to try some side lighting (trees sitting 90 degrees to the band on each side of the stage in line with). You can make a lot of cool effects with it.
