Sweet Tiger. Someday ill get $$ to unload on new powered speakers, I'm interested in the PXI's. Maybe the matching subs too?

I can't wait to test them out. They got here a day after I ordered, but I had a gig in the club last night and tonight too. I will test them and give my thoughts shortly. If they are good to go I will look into getting the 8" for monitors.

OK I blasted myself with these things in the house. Oh man.....nice....nice. For some reason they seem to be made better yet the same as the other powered speakers. Maybe it was me and the moment. I'm glad I upgraded to these. I have two big gigs next month and wanted to be fully prepared. Two questions for American Audio.....Is a 18" in the works and What is the blue light on the front of the PXI's for? It blinks to the beat and only shows when the volume is at the 1 or 2 o'clock position. Just wondering. I can't wait to get a hold of a set of 8" for monitors next. Later

Ok last night was the official first of two gigs. I am doing two Marine Corps Balls. I did my sound test and after some scarey trial and error....too loud at first.....clipping....luckily no damage. I got the perfect balance. I had one sub to compliment and the sound was perfect. Nice and clear full and plenty of volume. There was about 450 people there and between drinking and dancing about 200 or more covered the dance floor. I had good volume and clarity. These speakers definitely work for me. Oh if you are thinking 450 people and only 200 or so were dancing......remember Marines shoot weapons better than they can dance. Marines drink beer and shoot weapons....so a few remember how to dance ......it's all good. It was a good time...tips, and pay....

I forgot to mention that I used them for the second Marine Corps Ball. Awesome sound and between the one sub these 15's really sound good. You almost have to turn them down so you don't over power the audience. I love loud and they give me loud and clear...can't beat that.
