Install issues using boot camp/ windows. 8.1

Are you opening the program then doing file>open? Or are you just clicking on the .dlm file from the desktop or wherever it is saved?
you usually need to open the program first then go to file and then open, it really shouldn't work by just clicking on the file. not unless you tell windows to open any .dlm file with the my dmx program.

Ok, I think I figured that part out now... I was actually just clicking on the saved .dlm on my desk top... It had always worked on my MacBook where I used. Windows 7 with bootcamp ... I realized also that my other computer still had the older version of MyDmx.

So, now it looks like my show if there but my green light on the interface is not going on steady ( just a quick flash when I plug in the cable-once it stayed on for a few seconds and all my lights came on when only 4 were supposed to according to the way I have them programmed)...does this mean the old interface is not comparable with the new version of mydmx and I'm gonna have to put out $400 for a new interface??? Tell me no and I'll buy you dinner !!

The Old My DMX 1.0 hardware is NOT intended to work on the new My DMX 2.0 software, you will need to purchase the new dongle.
But take it from me, with the new features in 2.0 it is so very much worth it.

I suspected that was the problem... I don't see that kind of money coming my way for a while... Is there anyway I can still get the old software?
