D-J-X I had the exact same problem with my PS2s. The problem is the PS2 themselves for some reason had a lower audio line level output compared to other devices. To prove this I had domestic stand alone CD player and swapped it with the PS2 on the mixer channel. With the mixer channel at the same level, the domestic CD player was definately louder, about 20% more than the PS2. I did the same test with a Den0n with the same results, the PS2 had issues. I took it back to Lightsounds and after a bit of argument they took them away and fixed them but still not as loud as I expected them to be.

ROQ out.

I have noticed as well that the PS2 volumes are slightly lower then other line in devices. My fix for this is to turn the gain up on the channel of the mixer to make it level with the other devices. I'm not being sarcastic. If your mixer has a gain knob (not the channel fader itself) you can turn the gain up. Just don't take the channel into the red (you may also want to turn the gain down on ther devices to make things even). If you go into the red, you are clipping the single on that preamp. Whcih can lead to distortion.
