hyper beam issues

i have an american dj hyper beam light - a while back, the light bulb stopped working. i replaced the bulb, but even still then the fan would run and the mirrors would turn, but there was no light. i took it to the store where i bought it, and they serviced/fixed the light so that it worked again. i took it out on the job again, and not even a few weeks later i had the same issue.

what is causing this, and how do i get it resolved? the light is likely out of warranty at this point, as it is a few years old...
