Is there a way to let key strokes reach compushow to trigger a cue even if the program is not selected. eg. Compushow is open but mouse cursor is left clicked on the desktop. Typing 's' triggers the cue it is linked to in compushow.
They do not fire if another program is selected. Just like a note pad with not show key strokes when entering cue names or another program us selected.
Ok, so the reason why this isn't allowed is in case someone were to start typing in a different window, it would be triggering cues and all that. The thinking is, the focus should be on the lights so that's why there's no background keyboard trigger. MIDI will work in the background.
