Fog Fury Jett Remote Control Issue

I have 2 ADJ Fog Fury Jett machines, & both the remote controls do not work. Clean up inside the remote control, & the battery seems to work properly. When I press on the remote control buttons, the red light is on, but nothing is happening on the fog machine. Any comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
