FC-400 setup with LED panels

absolute newbie to the entire lighting arena, so I apologize upfront for any silly questions that I might ask...

I have some ADJ lights and some lights for the "other" company and they all have DMX512 capabilities. all I want to do is setup a couple of scenes, a music activated chase, blackout and full on. I've read the manuals, but can't get my head around it. can anyone help? thank you in advance!
