Faders on Q-SPAND MKII?

Well yes and no. They are replaceable by a factory authorized repair center, and with the authorized replacement part, anything else could void your warranty.

I'm thinking of purchasing this mixer and I would like to know how people feel about it as a whole.

Actually those faders are field replaceable. They can be replaced by anyone. It is very simple. Also they have VCA control, so they should last longer than a conventional mechanical fader.

Are you referring to the cross fader or channel fader?

I'm referring to the Crossfader, but you can answer for both if possible. Thanks!

OK yes the crossfader is field replaceable, but only with the part supplied by ADJ, if you try to modify the crossfader with one designed for another mixer either ADJ or otherwise it will void the warranty.

The channel faders are simple to replace, but opening the mixer to do so would also void the warranty should a problem arise.

Crossfader is easily replaceable , but the channel fader has some soldering involved and would have to be done by an authorized technician here at American Dj.

Thanks guys. Now I just have to find this thing. It seems to be either not in stock or just plain not listed at every place I've checked.
