DX5R

I like the DX5R, it has all the essentials including balanced outputs and dual mic option(all mixers should have these options). I'm not sure about the rotaries, never used them before, but I guess its a matter of getting used to. It's a pity it doesn't have an optical x-fader but I guess for the price you can't complain too much. One thing I'd pay attention to is make sure the headphone output is powerful enough. I know its only a minor thing but could have a huge impact on overall useability. Test it with your own headphones if you can before purchase. Good luck.

What do you think of the mixer Steve? I've seen you mention that you were going to buy it, did you?

I never did get it. I don't feel it's a bad deal. Especially at $199 street. But I already own 2 UREI's, and one Pio 3000 with rotaries. So I decided to wait. I am on the verge of buying a new AA mixer, but I was checking out the QFX for the home studio.
