DCD-PRO210 Questions

remember the CDI300 OR even look at the PRODJ system great deack and table tops. The 210 is a great system if you don't need seamless looping.

Hmm I read that the 210 had some kind of looping. Well if not then I will still get it since I would not be able to afford 2 CDI-300s either.

Take a look around at some places to find used players if you really want seemless looping. <cough>eBay</cough> You can find Table top players like the ProScratch1, PSX, or ProDJ2's for under $100/pc. Trust me I've had them all, and they are all quite solid.

Then what are the loop buttons on the DCD-Pro210 for?

i got my dcd pro 210 abot a week ago and i love it! the only thing i dont like about it is the looping but for the price its a great unit i dont use the looping much anyways so it doesnt matter to me

If "seemless" looping is important to you the 210 won't cut it for you. It's a good solid little unit in every respect except that. Yes, it has a looping function "technically", but it's pretty-much unusable.
I went into detail in the other 210 review thread, so I won't rehash it all here.

Well, considering the price and it is a good CD player. I may just get this unit then. I guess the looping can wait, and its better so I can practice mixing. One thing though, does the remote unit have feet so I can use it on a table top?

I was looking at a few decks and seen the DCD-PRO600 which seems to be in my price range and has all the features I want. Now will AA discontinue this model anytime soon since the DCD-PRO1000 is out or will they keep making the 600 as a mid level deck?
