DCD PRO1000 question...

Does the DCD PRO1000 have a PROGRAM feature where you can program certain tracks off a CD to be played? Say, you want track 1,3,6,7,9 to be played in a row during dinner. Its a really old feature but I can't find it on the 1000. Is it there?

Maybe you should have asked Joey, or Nicky this prior to your purchase.....

I'm just busting on you. BTW welcome to the club, as one of the happy owners of AA CD players. If you have any more questions feel free to ask here, as we have the infamous Skilz, Joey, and others who are familiar with the 1000, and you have Joey and Nicky at ProDJ. I am sure you will be happy with your choice.

I didn't buy it yet. I meant that I couldn't find it on the PDF manual. That is a very useful feature for the dinner hour...

Yes it is...But recently I've been using a PC, and making playlists for C0cktails and dinner, so I can mix it up for each wedding, and don't miss that feature as much. But for pure CD jocks you are correct.

I've pre-mixed some dinner music onto CD using the computer. I like it better than just going track-to-track, there's no gaps in the music. Takes a little time to do, but it's fun, and gives you a chance to practice your mixing skills.
