OKay, newbie question...but how does one set the cue point. Do i have to hit the in button all the time...and how do I clear the memory & sampler...what is the real diff between the two? yes I will read the manual somemore...also, how is the scratching, I was having problems scratching on voices. I have played with an CDN90 and it was much easier to scratch.

thanks,

To set your cue point on the fly, just press the in button, anytime you press that in button, a new cue point will be loaded into the buffer. If you are in pause mode, just press play to pause the track and then cue, and that will also store your cue point. As for the sampler/cue points, anytime you store a new cue point or sample it will erase the previously stored point, the sample will not "leave" the player until the unit is powered off. You can store your cue points in the unit and recall them by pressing and holding memory down for a few seconds.
As far as the scratching, it's the most accurate dual cd player out there, just takes a little getting used to.
Thanks for the info. I finally got time to play with it and it impresses me more everyday. I am still confused about the sampler though. I understand we have 3 banks..how do I clear the banks and how do I get a sample in. I know you press and hold the memory button till it goes off, but I am not quite sure the actual process of getting a sample in.

Best bet is to take a loop, simple 4 beat loop, let it run a few times, press memory, press cue point 1 2 or 3. Then press the sampler button, press whichever cue point you stored it in, if you are playing live make sure you do so on beat or it will sound like a mish mosh, so long as the sampler button is lit it will play a seamless loop of the sample, you CANNOT store the loop/sample, what you can save into memory is the beginning cue point. When you have that sample in the cue point, if you hold down the memory button for 3 seconds it will store that cue point into memory. Now, when you power the unit off that cue point can be easily recalled by pressing memory when you insert the disc, if you are in continuous play mode, when you call up the cue point by pressing it, you will have to hit IN loop, otherwise when you hit cue, it will go back to the first track. By hitting cue, you set that cue point as your current active cue point. Play the song in your headphones and repeat the original process of looping and then follow the original instructions. . . . any more questions?
