DCD Pro 1000

Velocity vs. DCD pro 1000.....Does anyone know what the major differences are? I bought the 1000 a few months ago and I'm pretty happy with it. The velocity looks like it has a black platter design. Is this better than the metallic platter on the 1000?

They are prety much the same....other than the layout of the buttons,,,,,

The Velocity had slot load drives while the 1000 has trays.

The 1000 has a bigger screen with a rotating "record".

as for the platter they are just cosmetic....i prefer the platter of the velocity but i wish it had the outer ring that the 1000 platter has.
