ok so,

I got my compu 1024 and hooked it up to my ibm thinkpad lenovo t30. the lappy is a 2.4ghz pentium 4M with 1GB ram. it only has usb 1.1 ports. the compu drivers installed ok and so did the latest release of compuware. setting up a blank page for one of my lights, i actually got things working, lights on, moving, lookin flashy and awesome.

but then... it stops working, not responding at all to any changes i make to channels on the software. the software crashes ALL the time.

I installed the interface and software on a different PC i have, a desktop DELL. Similar specs to the laptop and also with usb 1.1 ports. Everything works fine on the desktop. no crashing, everything responds like normal.

the ONLY difference between the lappy and the desktop is that the desktop is running a legit version of windows xp and the laptop is not.. so i can see how MAYBE that's a problem, but it's never given me a problem before. I'm gonna run out tomorrow and pick up a usb2.0 pcmcia card for the laptop and see if it runs better on that. Otherwise, let me know if anyone's had any problems like that
